Mary MacADNski: He's about two feet long. I was drawn to the reflection of the trees and sky and the blue jay feather floating. This statue has held many positions in my friend's garden over the years.
He was looking for Venus that was supposed to rise from this little garden sea. She never did. There was no stimulus to live no more for heart broken David.
Mary MacADNski: Venus is still sitting in a pool on the other side of the garden pouring water from a jug, seemingly unconcerned.
I really go for your gorgeous frame of foliage.
