Sorry about that Mary ... I am trying to do 99 things at once and I am not paying any attention to whose blog I am admiring.

I love the tones in this photo. Especially the gold water.
Mary MacADNski: I'm not sure what the apology is for but glad you like the photo, Helen.

Now that...right there...is a scene walking a long mile to see.
Mary MacADNski: Wear your mosquito repellent. With our wet summer the mosquitoes have had a busy year and dusk is their favorite time to come visit.

Mary MacADNski: Oh, Pat, thanks so much for the link to that cute story!!! It was inspiring.
Beautiful tones and a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. I could imagine all tension disappearing here. By the way, is that a very large bird circling on the left, over the trees? (:o)
Mary MacADNski: It is a bird over the trees. I guess he was enjoying the views too.

Lovely tranquil feeling to this one - the subtle tones are very relaxing.
Ingrid
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ingrid. I won't even tell you about the mosquitoes.

I know you don't do twiddles and crops and stuff, but I would crop the top off this because the sun is just too bright and detracts from that beautiful scene below.
Mary MacADNski: I do a bit of cropping and straightening horizons, Bill. I just don't enhance colours and alter how things actually looked at a moment in time. Straightening a horizon or cropping out a telephone pole doesn't change it in that way. I get you about the brightness of the sun and will give it a go.

A fine sight, Mary. Must be great to see in real life.
Mary MacADNski: I had to stop the car several times on the way home for shots. It was such a beautiful evening.
