It is a very caring community, Mary, that constructs a cormorant [they are called "Shags" in Australia] roost in a pretty bend of the river. [grin]
Mary MacADNski: I was almost late for work and couldn't stop to shoot this full of cormorants. Went back two days later at approximately the same time and none were there.

They're neat birds to watch with their postures and prehistoric look.

I like the sweep of the river, Mary. Is that the remains of an old jetty or something?
Mary MacADNski: It is an old jetty and is usually filled with cormorants. Stay tuned.
