Orange Mushrooms

It is my day off and I am out hunting chanterelles again.  With our wet weather there should be lots.  I don't know what this mushroom is but I thought it was very pretty and decided to immortalize it.

Terrific splash of orange. Nice image Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I loved the splash of colour too. The background had no colour at all.

Mary MacADNski: I don't know if it's edible. I stick with the tried and true chanterelles.

Mary MacADNski: The colour is nice isn't it? It's still very green here but in the forest the browns on the floor predominate.

Nice colour but I dont think I would eat it,could be harmful to health

I thought that you had desaturated the rest of the image and just left the mushrooms in colour but I see bits of green in the image as well.. lovely.
Mary MacADNski: This was the natural colour, Alan. I loved the natural contrast.

Love the orange, it is like a fairytale seize and I just can picturit that little people are living in these gorgeous hats....wink

Superb color ! But, like Vintage, I don't want to eat them !!!
So the orange is brigth !
Mary MacADNski: They stood out from the forest floor with their bright colour. I would not eat them either.
