We sometimes lose track of time on An Island Walk.

Heaven!
One foot in the grass and the other in the sand!

Mary MacADNski: If I had tow heads, they would probably follow those feet.

Very interesting perspectica where the textures are divided perfectly. Seen very well!

Oh that looks like a very fun place to go!

Mary MacADNski: It was incredibly windy that day and I wished for a hat.

I am intrigued by the abrupt line between sand and grass. It's as if the ocean waves are programmed to wash in only so far, no more. Lovely picture!

Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Patrushka. There is always a high tide line at any tidal shore. It quite often forms a little hill.

I like the colour contrast between that of the grass and the sand. Looks like a pot or something washed up on the tideline.

Mary MacADNski: The colours attracted me too. The object is a styrofoam buoy that has washed up.

Wonderful shot. The combination of colours and the composition are lovely.

Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Michael. It brings back memories of that very windy day.

Very nice: the sand colour is like this in Devon, England

Mary MacADNski: A few places in the world have red soil. I keep hearing about them here.
