Suddenly, I'm thirsty, Mary. smile You got yourself a corker pose there.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ginnie. It was a banquet setting for the bees with fifty or so light standards planted with so many flowers.

That is an intimate cuddle, if ever I saw one, Mary!

Great shot.
Mary MacADNski: Bee style, I'd call it.
Very nice. He was too busy to notice you
Mary MacADNski: It was a banquet for him. Fifty or so light standards with planters around them.....He would have been filled to the brim when he went back to the hive.
He's certainly tucking in Mary.

What a cracking thing to do with a camera! Wonderful shot, Mary.

To concentrate even more attention on the bee you could try cropping a little of the greenery off the top and the darkness on the right, even to the extent of trimming the ends off the petals. This would place the subject closer to one of those "thirds" everyone's always harping on about. Actually, it's quite a good ploy for many shots.
Mary MacADNski: That's all good advise. Thanks.

my mum will speak to these and gently strokes thier backs! she's a nutcase, I know, but strangly they really seem to like it.
Mary MacADNski: Bumble Bees are not aggressive so I'd say that would be wonderful to see.
