Bee and Ant

After seeing it here today, I believe I should have cropped down to just below the ant.

Hmmmm. I'm not sure about that, Mary. I kinda like the height of this and especially the scale of those two side by side. How fun!
Mary MacADNski: I will keep both insects but am going to try the crop. Just to see.

Fabulous work, Mary.
I think you are correct about the crop, but its no big deal for me.

[Good to see you still have bees on PEI.]
Mary MacADNski: Our neighbouring province was hit by whatever was killing them last year but we weren't. Over the years there were bans on certain bees for a long time as we were rare in that our bees had never had certain diseases so were clean. We now have those diseases now.

Double action well captured
Mary MacADNski: Thanks vintage. There was quite a size difference.

I'm happy with how it is. Again, good detail to it. I like how the bee is oblivious to all around!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Alan. Bees are certainly single minded.

I think her eye is amazing
Mary MacADNski: It's early in the day for this one. The pollen bags are not loaded.

The ant is planning an attack on the monster sucking the juices from its food source. Ray made no remark about the pleasure workers? Wow.

I think your idea about the crop will be a great alternative.
Mary MacADNski: Maybe Ray's still sleeping. LOL. I think the crop is a good idea too. If wish I'd not been in such a hurry.

hehe, the bee looks like he flew into the flower too fast and the ant is going to rescue him!..grin

Lovely shot. mal
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, mal. The place was buzzing with bees. It was good to see.
Oh wow - how beautiful! Love the depth and clarity of the bee.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Jen - a lucky find.
Yes worth trying the crop Mary. It's a very pleasing picture as it is though
Mary MacADNski: I'll probably post the change.
Great stuff Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks for that.
Mary, I like the shot as it is, but if you crop it, will return to see the result. I love the texture and color of the flower, as well as the excellent capture of both insects.
Mary MacADNski: I'll use it probably some time when I need shots to cue up.
