I really like the woody tree-fungus, and take shots whenever I see it.
Your image is a beauty, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I have an interesting one tomorrow, Ray.

They look like steps going the tree. Well seen, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: That's just what I thought, Alan. Are you enjoying your trip?

With these it's not hard to decide the shady side of the tree. Well spotted Mary.
Mary MacADNski: When I was in AU with a friend, during a conversation someone said, "Well, everyone knows moss grows on the south side of a tree." My friend and I burst out laughing because even as young children in order to learn about survival in the woods and in general knowledge we learn that moss grows on the north side of a tree.
Lovely shot of bracket fungi. They come in an amazing range of colours
Mary MacADNski: Tomorrow I have more fungi on the same tree - completely different.

Wonderful shot. When I opened the page I thought a group of ninjas had thrown their plates at the tree smile.
Mary MacADNski: They were very strong ninjas.
How lucky to see this great buch of fungus Mary, it stands out well against the green grass in the background.
Mary MacADNski: It's a lovely old tree that is probably over a hundred years old.
Steps as a stairs that climb to the top of the tree! Wonderful!
Mary MacADNski: It was very interesting.
The Autumn already has arrived!
Mary MacADNski: It has been getting cooler.
