That's a gorgeous shot Mary: how did you get the cat to pose so well?
Mary MacADNski: She poses like that all the time. After I snapped the shutter she probably didn't move for another 3 or 4 minutes. Then had a lick then sat in another pose without moving for five minutes. Another lick, another pose......

The Louis Armstrong title sums this up well. Look at those glorious eyes, too. I wonder what she is thinking.. "When's lunch?"

She's a beauty, for sure.

Got home from work today and had to take one of our rumbunctious felines to the vets. Agonising pain, possibly a broken tail....

Antibiotics, a big bill, and lots of TLC will hopefully make him feel better. The joys of loving cats smile
Mary MacADNski: Oh, no! That would be VERY painful for a cat. Bella had an abccess one time on her tail and was not happy.

They certainly do carry tickles intheir whiskers.

This one looks very focused on something or other, whenever I get the camera near our cat she walks towards me!
Mary MacADNski: This is her usual focusing. She just stares into space unmoving. Great for photos but I guess they get a bit boring. Good thing I have more than just this one. LOL

Excellent, crisp closeup! You can even see subtle color variations in Kenz's eyes.
