There's hay involved, still way to cold.

This looks just like some monumental sculpture.

Mary MacADNski: I went for a drive yesterday to find some unusual drifts. I wasn't sure what I would find five days after the storm but there were lots of cook sculptures. Check out An Island Walk: http://anislandwalk.blogspot.com/

Mary MacADNski: I went for a drive yesterday just to see that power at work, to find images like this. It is awesome.
Magnificent Mary. They seem having a blanket on them!
Mary MacADNski: Snow is actually a wonderful insulator.
I can'ty work out what the marks are, mary. I thought atfirst they were shadows but not so sure now.
Mary MacADNski: It is drifted snow on a row of plastic wrapped round bales of hay. The drifting snow makes wonderful sculptural elements such as can be seen in the last couple of days.

Mary MacADNski: Most animals actually like snow coming into the barn. Chickens will come pecking at your boots for fresh snow.
