Nice high lights and shadows
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Vintage. It was what drew me to stop my car.
A spinkling of snow in the UK and we are ground to a halt, mary.
Mary MacADNski: We don't have nearly as much here on the Island as there is on the mainland where this is taken. We are prepared though. I have studded winter tires on my car and a shovel at my back door.
Wonderful shot Mary. Great use of the shadows here!
Mary MacADNski: The shadows are what drew me too.

I am trying to imagine plough furrows and green growth smile

Excellent picture of the black buildings in the glittery landscape.
Mary MacADNski: Now that you mention it, I am too. This is unfamiliar to me too. I was on a road trip and thought this was pretty so stopped along the road.

We've got around 4cm of snow here today, the first for years and is causing complete chaos! No-one knows how to drive it in! Its not as pretty as this scene, though.
Mary MacADNski: I just heard a news report about London which received 30 cm. They say the city is at a standstill but that the children are very happy. I have studded winter tires and can go about anywhere.

There is nothing quite like unwalked-on snow, Mary. It's so pristine!
Mary MacADNski: There are fields and fields like this where we were last week. There isn't nearly this amount of snow on the Island.

Lovely Mary, we have had a bit more snow now and expecting more tonight.
It makes me laugh our country comes to a stand still, when we have a snow fall.
Mary MacADNski: I heard the news saying London had 30 cm of snow and that the city is at a standstill. The children are having fun though. Are you near London? They say photographers were out everywhere.
It is snowing here today with more on the way! They have had a lot around London and it is supposed to be coming our way from there!

Nice picture Mary...I might have some of my own soongrin

It looks bleak Mary, despite the sun: England is like thiis today

Nice one..You cant beat a low sun to show off the detail.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ronald. How true what you say!

Mary MacADNski: And yay for the light that brings the shadow.
