Love the shadows Mary, at least you were shooting from inside this time.

Mary MacADNski: I was glad to be inside as this was in the middle of an extreme cold spell. I'm with ya about suburbia.
What a wonderful barn Cath has!
The light/shadow play is superb.
Mary MacADNski: It is a great barn that for the first time in probably eighty years has not held cattle for the winter. No paths or footprints. The shadows are what made me get my camera.
Well caught Mary. You have said before..you cant go wrong taking winter scenes like this. Both my wife and I are quite envious. Virgin snow indeed. Beautiful.
Mary MacADNski: On grey days the snow can be one dimensional but on sunny days with the blue shadows, snow can be very beautiful.

Mary MacADNski: My back yard is in lots and lots of shots but my windows are too dirty to take them from inside.
She can clean ours any time...I can never get them clean even with vinegar and newspaper!
What a great view from the window too.
Mary MacADNski: It helps that it is a new window. Mine are a50 years old and I can't get them truly clean either.
I suppose it gets like this every year Mary. I shall have to look up where your island is - and how big it is
Mary MacADNski: This is not on my Island. It is in New Brunswick, the mainland. They always get a lot more snow that we do.
