photoblog image Softer, Somehow

Softer, Somehow

This is the shot I intended for Sunday's Shot.  Look at the difference side by side.  This one is natural with no sharpening and I like it much better.  I used the sharpening click box when posting it first time.

I don't have an in-computer way of editing photos and rely on web based ones when I need to crop or straighten horizons ( I have a crooked head).  I like 'the moment" aspect of photography though I never will attain the perfection of what I see with my eye....at that moment.

The next few days post will be of images in my Unassigned bin.  They are there for some reason or other. Today's is because I wanted to repost Sunday's error.

Walk and walk, sometimes we turn in circles on An Island Walk.

Have to agree Mary this is a much nicer presentation of the shot
Mary MacADNski: Amazingly, it's not as nice as in my files either but better than Sunday's.

Nice white stuff Mary, this one has a softer look about it. Yes better.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Aussie.
I definitly prefer this one Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. I do too.
For me I would like it somewhere between the two....smile
Mary MacADNski: And a twiddler could probably do just that.

So I wonder what is hidden under the snow? Snow covers up a multitude of sins and Man's meddlings! I like the ghost-like figure on the snow.
Mary MacADNski: I wonder too. Most likely topsoil or gravel.

I believe the snow look better in the other one, but the tres are definitely better here. Still a great shot.
Mary MacADNski: Yeah, the snow was more important.
Quite uniform mounds..which does leave us wondering. Nicely picked out against the dark background...The sunshine does wonders aswell Good Pam
Mary MacADNski: Pam today. I was called something else(another name)this week as well. Invisible.
