Actually, I like it just the way it is...an unruly assortment of country artifacts with no desire to be sorted out.

Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ray. I like the new camera except there are a lot of buttons right near where my thumb holds the camera so I am turning things off and on without even realizing it.
We do that too!
Mary MacADNski: I don't buy them often, just for birthday gifts. I'm not very lucky so no one has ever won anything big from my tickets.

Mary MacADNski: Luck is needed when it comes to lottery tickets. I don't often buy them because I've never been known for my good luck, only my bad luck.

I don't think it needs cropping Mary, as the surroundings give it context. And as you have used a shallow DOF the subject stands out.
