Wonderful vast whiteness
Mary MacADNski: It's fun to see all the ice shapes.
Lots of ice! Back here in Toronto Lake Ontario looked like this for a little while but it didn't last this year. I like all the colours in the snow you've captured. It does look cold! Nice photo smile
Mary MacADNski: I'm going to Wasaga next month. There is usually ice still there in April.
According to this..its going to be sometime before the ferry gets going! It does show how bleak and cold it is there. Good one Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Ferry service starts May 1st.

Beautiful colour variations and patterns in the snow/ice. You are closer to the north pole than I thought smile
Mary MacADNski: Not that close! Check out the map.

Gorgeous image Mary.
I'm saving for the trip to Canada, might take a while but I will get to see all the snow one day.
Mary MacADNski: I have enjoyed this winter very much, Aussie. Last winter I was housebound for the most part. This winter has not been severe and it's been beautiful.

I thought my friend from NS was joking about all the snow there in March. this is a tremendous snow landscape, very nice Mary
Mary MacADNski: The sun is working it's magic and snow is quickly melting. It will be gone soon.
That is a stunning shot. Perfectly composed and great colour.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Michael Lots of interesting things to take photos of no matter the season.
