I laughed at your own comment. Looks like the little guy already got his head cropped off. Hee hee
Mary MacADNski: I don't use post processing so am always getting suggestions like boost this, add contrast here, crop this, etc. I usually try to post better shots but was in a terrible hurry and this was what was outside my window.

I love this picture, especally the guy flying away and the yellow on his tail. And the other one with the mouth open asif she if telling you off for taking her picture. Ha, could be me.
Mary MacADNski: Thinking today that Tuesday it's a year since I came home from the hospital - with you, and without my kidney.
Every one of the shots I took of these waxwings, there was one with their mouths open. Yep, it could be you! LOL
...yep it is Sunday, the sun is out here too....so you are excused for NOT cropping, why should you, it is a wonderful picture, we don't have these birds in the Netherlands...I bet they make a lot of noise too.
....and Mary.......please enjoy the rest of this 'lazy' day....
Mary MacADNski: This won't ne a lazy day for me. I will FINISH my big progect today and get back to normal life.
These birds are chatty but not noisy. In every one of the shots a bird had it's mouth open, chatting, but their voices are just little peeps.
Mary, got some wonderful material here. My advice is to crop it in closer and get the subject in the picture. The bottom left is not necessary.
Make the crop of the upper left and you'll see what I mean
Cheers
Rob
Well...it's your picture, so you can choose to crop or not, as you please.
Nothing wrong with headless waxwings anyway...I suppose...jeez...I mean to say, its still got its wax wings...it could have always backed into the picture if it wanted its head in view...
Mary MacADNski: I can see the crop line and truly should have cropped it or put in another of the 20 waxwing photos I took. Too darn busy last week. This week, much better.
