It could actually be white sand, Mary, on a very hot day!
Mary MacADNski: Ha, I wish it were, Ginnie.

You have a long winter, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Very long, Ray. That's why Canadians travel so much.

Mary MacADNski: So do I!!!
The Sun is winning Mary, all he needs is some time.. we all make merry when that happens smile
Mary MacADNski: I will jump into this water in July with much appreciation.

There's something very strange about seeing a beach covered in snow! A lovely place for a walk by the looks of it.
Ingrid
Mary MacADNski: It is a great spot.
Nice view Pam..and the lighting was just right. Snow without footprints..Perfect.
Mary MacADNski: I'm Mary, Ron. Thanks for looking in.

I agree with Ginnie
Mary MacADNski: It is snow and ice, though. Keepin' it real!
This is so beautiful and unusual to me Mary. I would love to have a walk there!
Mary MacADNski: It is fun to walk on the frozen ocean, Richard.

Wow, thats all snow? It looks like an image from the Caribbean! Still makes me wish I was lazing on the beach, not so much in the cold though smile
Mary MacADNski: It's all snow and ice, Mia. We've had a major blizzard since this photo was taken on Saturday.

At first galnce, this looked like a valley filled with clouds. Can you tell where the beach ends and the sea begins?
Mary MacADNski: No you can't tell right now as the ice is solid. If it rafts up along the beach, you can tell but for now you can walk on it.

And you have taken almost the same picture without snow - blogged long ago. This is excellent again. Hang in there, we now have the cosmos flowers in full swing - sort of like nature's last act before autumn/winter.
Mary MacADNski: You've seen this spot many times - in the winter before too.

Have a great holiday, Louis.

Very dramatic Mary
Mary MacADNski: We've had a terrible blizzard the last two days so there is more snow. The temps are staying -2 to +2 so it isn't that cold.

Something I will never see here is a beach completely covered in snow, it looks so unusual. Can't see "the join" with the sea either
Mary MacADNski: I am hoping for a thaw soon, Ellie. I'm rather tired of ice and snow.
