The aunt and uncle I just visited are cat lovers and support a shelter for abandoned cats. We visited one afternoon and I saw another example of line dancing in assorted species. It's not only for piglets and lambs.
"Many people will stop to pet a gorgeous healthy cat. True cat lovers, however, will go out of their way to stop and pet a sickly, feline stray."
Walking in lines and in groups. It's all encouraged on An Island Walk.
Line Dancing Cats

Mary MacADNski: There were tons of every colour but the gene pool in this town certainly did represent the black and white population very well. It was an amazing place to be, surrounded by so many cats.
Well seen and well timed, Mary. In addition to our four pampered indoor kitties (the "onshores"), we're taking care of a whole neighborhood of cats (the "offshores") which are either strays, or whose owners won't take good care of them. Ticks, ear mites, eye infections, tumors, feline leukemia - it's hard to keep up with it all. I love to pet them all and give them the attention they crave, but I have to remember to wash thoroughly so as not to infect our own cats. Time to go feed them now!
Mary MacADNski: I just returned from a visit with my aunt and uncle who are cat philanthropists. They are their own small but effective army. They feed, collect, spay and neuter, vaccinate, and provide health care for cats in a whole beach town's beach area. They have a sympathetic vet (she runs the pictured adoption center)who provides them with emergency medicines and throws in the occasional free spay or neuter. They fund the rest of it themselves.
