Umh...what happened to your gorgeous salmon pink sands?

Mary MacADNski: Very observant you are. This is at my aunt and uncles beach where I recently vacationed.

She's standing tall and proud, Mary! Happy Mother's Day.

Mary MacADNski: Thank you, Ginnie. It's the hardest day of the year for me but I work from noon till eight so have no time to ponder.

Nice picture but I really don't like seagulls!

Mary MacADNski: They do make good models as they are not terribly afraid and will allow you to get quite close.

If there is such a thing as re-incarnation..Joanie wants to come back as a seagull..she loves them. Nice one Mary.

This is a great picture, love the low angle.
That seagull just came in time to make a good composition with the waves....

Mary MacADNski: I was playing with fast shutter speeds on the waves and the bird probably thought I might have food.

And the bird takes centre stage/ very clear light.

Mary MacADNski: Different birds, different lights, same day same water. Both worked.
