Stackwall Foundation

Seems the foundation of this old building is stackwall with both wood and rock.  It seems fairly solid.

The builder is an apache.
He built a patchy here and a patchy there.
Mary MacADNski: That's a new one for me, Louis. A good one too!

Well it certainly looks as if it was built to last...
Mary MacADNski: It's seen better days but is still up and useful.
Great mishmatch of shapes here.
Mary MacADNski: The perfect word!
I love the textures and shapes here Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. There is a lot to look at.

Some hefty timbers in there! Nice combination of textures.
Mary MacADNski: I thought it was a pretty neat building. I stopped in a cold wind but it was worth it.

I do think it'll last for awhile, Mary! grin Looks like it could be a good shelter from tornadoes, too, but do you ever get those?? (LOL at Louis, yes!)
Mary MacADNski: We don't get tornadoes but this photo is not taken here. Where the site is, they do get them occasionally. I don't think it would fare well.
Looks like it has been patched up a few times..makes for a good picture
Mary MacADNski: I like the old buildings just for that reason.
All sorts of textures here..some of it looks like slate Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I wouldn't begin to guess the stone used. There certainly are lots of textures.
It withstood a fire by the looks of it, So Solid.
Mary MacADNski: I was thinking the blackness was just aging but you may have hit apon something.
