Mary MacADNski: Sometimes roosters are aggressive. They think you are trying to steal their woman. This fellow was very nice and didn't seen bothered by strangers a bit. I'm glad for that.
Wonderful shot Mary. The Maran is so special. We kept Marans once and the eggs were superb
Mary MacADNski: These are certainly free range. I went for a walk down the road from here and found two more out for a stroll. I shooed them back to their farm. They were about a half km. from home.
If I didn't have cats I wouldn't mind keeping chickens. These are a splendid trio Mary
