photoblog image In Focus

In Focus

I posted a shot of apple blossoms last week that was not in focus and in now way should it have been posted.  I seem to be in a hurry each day when I post and will endeavor to be more mindful and careful from now on.  I have even missed a post yesterday. I will slow down and smell the flowers.

How could you NOT slow down and smell THESE flowers, Mary! Thank You. BTW, we all have days like that, when we are going way too fast and need to slow down Thanks for the reminder.
Mary MacADNski: I slow down enough to take photos but not enough when choosing what to post. It's always at the last minute. I spend a lot of time outdoors and my camera is always with me.
very nice.
In focus and with lovely bokeh.
Can smell these from here!!
Cheers
Rob
Mary MacADNski: They do smell wonderful. Thanks for stopping by, Rob.

Slow down....enjoy...the day has 24 hours....I know sad I have sometimes the same problem to speed things up and be on the run all day.
I am glad you took time to smell and capture these beautiful apple blossoms, I love them, great play of sun/shadow.
Mary MacADNski: I take the time with my camera. I don't take the time to choose the proper photo when posting. I have been so incredibly busy this spring but have all my major gardening finished so can now breathe a sigh of relief.

If slowing down makes this much difference - by all means, please do.

This is so excellent, words like fragile, dainty, etc comes to mind.
Mary MacADNski: Slowing down will help me choose the proper photos. They're there in the archives. The last one should have been in the trash.

Careful about putting your nose in these blooms, Mary...they are sure to attract sex workers that wear their spikes on their bums.
Mary MacADNski: I always carefully check the blooms for just that!

Good plan, Mary; alas, a little called "LIFE" does get in the way nearly every day! A fine image and I can spell that aplpe blossom from here.
Mary MacADNski: They do smell heavenly. I have bouquets of lilacs and lily of the valley all over the house so that's all I can smell these days.

beautiful image Mary, slowing down is harder than people think there is so much to do and so few hours to do it in, but l do make time for my passions in life

The Boss always comes first (wife)smile
Mary MacADNski: Spring and summer are so busy here on an Island that depends on a "tourist season." To say I'm multi-tasking would be a mild statement.
In focus they all are Mary. Well done. I wish I could smell them!

So so lovely and so were the out of focus ones. I think, Mary, that we put too much emphasis on clean and crisp when the world around us is often full of fuzziness, movement, and blur.
Mary MacADNski: Ha! Especially with the whirling dervish that is me. Movement and blur describes me perfectly; fuzziness only some times.
Well these are very nice.
Mary MacADNski: They'll be REALLY nice in September.
Lovely image Mary, certainly nothing wrong with this one.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Brian. The island was covered in these pink blossoms a week ago.
