Great to see some grasses have gate-crashed, and are feasting on the fertiliser intended for those pesky, mollicoddled strawberries.
Mary MacADNski: You would so love it around my pond right now. All the long pond grasses are in bloom and they are very tall and swaying in the breezes. Beautiful!

I saw the first local ones at the store yesterday. 4.99 a quart. They are the reason that Stephen is coming home now. He said that he wants to taste a real strawberry not the cardboard ones they get out there.
Mary MacADNski: He was telling me that. I told him you and I are going to visit him in cherry season.
It really is very pleasent round your way mary, particularly when strawberries are in the offingsmile
