As for your picture, it's spectacular...especially with those lovely clouds floating in the air behind the lighthouse.

I'm an idiot. I thought at first that "Kate Ruby" was the name of the town where you lived.. doh!! Silly devil! Ignoring that now, this is a fine shot. I do love these lighthouses. I did a trip down the Oregon coast a few years ago and enjoying visiting all those. Well captured.

Not to many steps to the top, I like the opposite colours of the Maple Leaf.

Marvellous - I'm a sucker for lighthouses, among other things. This one looks beautifully preserved in an idyllic setting.
