Lovely shot - looks so peaceful and you managed to squeeze in some Canola smile
Mary MacADNski: There seems to be more canola than usual this year. It is so pretty to come across.

Green! Mary, oh how I've longed to see green. I have been in the brown dusty Mojave Desert with it's dried up vegetation for the last few months and am crave green.
Mary MacADNski: It is green all around with bits of yellow canola fields. I know what you mean. I don't enjoy the desert that much and crave green when I am there.

Grasses rule!
Mary MacADNski: The grasses have been so beautiful. Just yesterday my sister in law were on the deck enjoying a beverage and looking over the pond. I remarked that just two weeks ago that the golden grasses we could see were purple. It seems they are ripening very early.
very nice ,it looks like a very nice day to be fishing
Mary MacADNski: It was also a good day for the beach which where I was going. I have a good friend Cheryl who lives in Canberra.

It's all so tranquil Mary
Mary MacADNski: It is very tranquil out here in the country with only the occasional moo or neigh to break the silence.
Did they catch anything? I love the what I take to be a rapeseed field (yellow in distance). Cheers

Mary MacADNski: I stopped only for a moment but their grandfather had had enough standing around so called them to leave. They hadn't caught any yet. It is rapeseed in the background. We call it canola here.

What a great spot half there luck
Mary MacADNski: They found the real summer sport.
This looks very English, it could be Worcestershire!
Mary MacADNski: It's called Flat River.
My lad (33 in August!) would willingly sit here all day, and all night, fishing like these lads Mary, it is such a lovely spot. I would sit and read and consume large quantities of coffee at the same time.
Mary MacADNski: My youngest is like that. He's been fly fishing for the last few years; a bit different.
Reminds me of my young days Mary..and i'm still a boy when it comes to fishing. Beautiful shot.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ron. One of my three is like that. They all grew up fishing but one really took to it.
I guess they dont move much so are an easy targetwink
Mary MacADNski: Unless they're looking for shade.
Childhood remember for me smile
Mary MacADNski: For most of us, I'd say. I have a grown up son who loves it as much as he did as a child.
