Boating

A group of party-goers attending a Poker Run on the water, a fundraiser.  There were several groupings like this in a large circle with swimming and other water sports in the middle.  Most of the boats are equipped with barbecues and everyone has their meal . My daughter and I were on one of the boats.  Fun, fun, fun in the summertime!

I nearly made a comment about under-dressed and then I remembered it means 'less clothes than is appropriate for the occasion'. So if the occasion is the right one, you can clothe-less smile My english is improving.

It looks quite a party.
Mary MacADNski: It was lots of fun - 35 or so boats. That group seems to be mostly younger people. They don't have to cover anything.

Mary MacADNski: It's a yearly event and there's room on the baot. Come "Up Over" next year and you've got a spot.
What is this summertime you refer to? grin
Mary MacADNski: We've had temps 28-30 all week with high humidity. It's about time. June and early July were wet.
So quite a party was had by all, looks great fun Mary hope you enjoyed it.
Mary MacADNski: It's a yearly event and yes, I really enjoyed it.

Sounds like it, too! Is that a huge sea bird off to the right?
Mary MacADNski: If there is food on the water, gulls are around. They got well fed. We threw out lots of hot dog buns and other treats.

Mary MacADNski: I couldn't see that group who were mostly young people. Our barbecue was tended very carefully with a modestly clothes woman. Age does have benefits - wisdom.

Mary MacADNski: It was a blast. I know motorcyclists do poker runs but had never been invited to one on a boat before. Good times.
