Stopping for a swim is indeed a pleasure associated with An Island Walk.

A dog in his element!

Mary MacADNski: I got several shots of this dog in the water. He or she was an amazing swimmer.

Dried sea weed Mary?

Mary MacADNski: Yes, it is dried seaweed. People use it for mulch so it is quite useful.

Everyone including the dog is having a ball

Mary MacADNski: There were 40 - 50 dogs on the beach. The National Park doesn't allow dogs so everyone with dogs comes here.

Mary MacADNski: Probably another dog.

They all look to be enjoying them selves Mary..lovely.

Mary MacADNski: The little girl was playing with some other kids earlier and the dog was swimming. They were definitely having fun.
