You sure do get a feel for the vastness of the sea, Mary! I would sit on the shore and be mesmerized.
Mary MacADNski: You would certainly have a lot of beaches to choose from.

Mary MacADNski: That's my favorite part too, Aussie. Can you imagine what it would be if I twiddled!

Tourists!

I trust the authorities stop 'em at the jetty, confiscate their wallets, pack back on board for the return trip?

Tourists will be the ruin of PEI...
Mary MacADNski: Ha, because the government wants then so bad we have the opposite thing going, We let them on via the ferry or bridge for free and make them pay to get off. Truly!

It is a great view to see the ferry come in....
LOL at Ray...however I think it is good to have some tourists.
Wonderful picture.
Mary MacADNski: It is good to have tourists. They provide my income for one thing.

Yours is a tourist-based economy I take it Mary - ours in Bath certainly is
Mary MacADNski: We're overrun in the summer but that is a good percentage of our economy and I like people so I don't mind except for the increased traffic. Amongst the increased traffic are drivers looking for restaurants, motels, enjoying the scenery and not at all looking at the road. Scary!

Nice composition of tourists on their way. I hope they took a look at your blog and also do some hiking smile
Mary MacADNski: I hope they do to both. Thanks, Louis.
I like the composition Mary, almost, but not quite landfall.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Brian. It has to go to the other side of the little island yet.

Thos eclouds make you realise just how insignificant everything is. Reading otehr comments, is there also a bridge to the mainland? I still think that the ferry is the best way to arrive.
Mary MacADNski: We are nestled between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. There is a bridge to NB and a ferry to NS. The bridge has been here 12 years. Before that there was a ferry as well.

Great perspective here Mary smile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Tracy.
What a wonderful photo! I'd love to take a ride on it. One of these days i'll make it out east!
Mary MacADNski: I hope you do, Iain. I'll show you the sights.
Much like it is here..tourists..we have a job to cross the road at times in the season.Nice one Mary.
Mary MacADNski: That is the biggest problem I find. We have the infrastructure to hold less people and for the summer months it takes forever to get anywhere you have to be.
Well as long as they spend plenty of money!
Mary MacADNski: That's what I say. Buy the local arts and crafts, people.
