photoblog image Big Eyed Kenz

Big Eyed Kenz

I don't know why Kenz's eyes are so big in this photo.  They are not usually like this.

"Cats create the allusion of being at our mercy
when all along we're at theirs."

Walk with me on An Island Walk.

They look green Mary!
Mary MacADNski: They are always green but not usually that large.

Perhaps he is about to start working his claws on that inviting chunk of bark.
Mary MacADNski: They certainly do that!
the tiger is on the prowl.
Mary MacADNski: Watching over her domain from on high.

" O hell she caught me" smile
Mary MacADNski: That is the look isn't it. She does frighten easily so maybe I scared her a bit. It looks strange anyhow.
It's an excellent shot, amazing green, I battle to photograph my cat in any pose similar to this.
Mary MacADNski: Does she/he not like trees? I have tons of trees on my property and my two cats have been leaping through them since they were babies. Clarke who died three years ago was lost in trees and I had to use ladders many times to get him down.

I agree with your words about cats
Mary MacADNski: The person who wrote this little book of cat quote is pretty accurate with most.
Perhaps she is thinking "I'm not sure how to get down from here"
Mary MacADNski: My girls are acrobats. They actually leap from tree to tree. I have no worries about her getting down. Clarke was another story. Could not find his way out of a tree.

From one cat lover to another all i can say is thanks for sharing your delightful Kenz again Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I've put a cat up every Saturday for the last couple of years, Graham. Have a look at the archives.
Green leaves and green eyes..all very matching. Nice shot Mary.
Mary MacADNski: She does fit in well with the leaves. Bella must fit in with the moon.
very scary, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: It looks like she's scared too. It is really strange to me that she looks like this.

Love it! they really blend in with the leaves.
Mary MacADNski: Tabbies have such great camouflage. I have a 35 yr old photo of a cat in a tree where you absolutely can not find the cat. After I point it out it is easy to see.
I like Ken's green eyes
Mary MacADNski: They look very large here.
RE: your quote...
Haven't you ever wondered why our cats give us those "STAFF" T-shirts? smile
Fine capture.
Mary MacADNski: Ha! My cats have not even given me shirts unless you count the hair shirt they give me every day.
