Nice,I recall in the country they had radio alerts if the wind was going to be too strong for the ripe heavy headed barley so the farmer could reap it
Mary MacADNski: We are expecting a hurricane on Sunday. The combines will be walking overtime till then, I'd say.
As kids..we used to play with a head of barley and make them crawl up your arm. Nice shot Mary

Mary MacADNski: It is the most beautiful of the grains. Rye is a nice colour too - kind of pale rusty coloured.
