Baxter and my daughter have moved on after spending the summer here. I miss my daughter but do not miss the dog. He destroyed a lot of things in my home and just did not work out well with me or the cats. The cats don't usually mind dogs but Baxter was to say the least, rambunctious. He was pretty cute though and one could find a few endearing qualities if willing to look really hard. He was on the boat with us and needed a time out so we set him out to sea for a while to cool off. It worked wonderfully.

An appropriately named raft, Mary! I hope that life can return to normal for the cats now that Baxter has gone.
Mary MacADNski: I'm still putting the house in order after lifting everything off the floor while he was here. He destroyed many things. They're coming for the weekend a couple of weeks from now. Shudder!!!!
Mary MacADNski: Ha ha. He gets very red around the mouth when he is bothered or upset. You can tell how tired he is that way as well. You can see how red he is here - very hyped up!
Looks like a boxer, those dogs have way to much energy. Very loving dogs though
Mary MacADNski: He is very loving, especially to my daughter. He's affectionate but feisty. Hopefully he will stop chewing as he'll be a year old soon.
lol poor soul he looks teriffied He'll be back to normal once on dry land. Lovely capture.
Mary MacADNski: He's not scared, just angry. He was flipping out on the boat. He gets tat way and this was the perfect solution. He'd already been for a swim but needed more time to cool off.
