Kayaks are wonderful craft.
Mary MacADNski: The island is so wonderful for kayaking. It's a much gentler form of boating than the other forms in the photo. My sister in law and brother in law kayak every weekend and love it!

Nice photo! Lots of colour and water movemment. Love the way the water is coming off the paddle of the red boat.

Since I don't do things like this I can't speak from experience, but I have a feeling those jetskis should be banned from anywhere there are small boats and/or swimmers. They are a pest.
Mary MacADNski: They smell bad too. There were boats of all kinds here. There is an island a short distance away so anyone with a boat can go to the island. I saw two people swim over too.

Th link shows the small island ( a sand dune really) with some people there and their boat.

messing about in boats...always good to watch. I have always fancied having a go on a jetski...but in the right place

I love how the red and yellow colors pop out of this shot.
As a non-swimmer I've always thought these look very unstable.
Mary MacADNski: You wear a life vest and don't give it a worry. That's the attitude I have to have in the water.
Glad to see people enjoying the water before the fall comes. Mry.
Mary MacADNski: I've stopped hanging out at the beach and started the two hour walks per day. Season's change.

This is one sport I always fancied trying but never got around to somehow. Would have been a good shot for selective colouring ;o)
Mary MacADNski: I have not tried it either and probably won't because of a bum shoulder. I agree this would have been good for selective colouring.
