Cedric

Last week, I showed my friend's cat Lizzy.  A few month's ago I featured the same friend's second cat Inky.  Their dog, Skipper, has been featured a few times too.

This is their third cat Cedric.  Cedric was once missing for three weeks.  He was finally found on Christmas Eve locked in a shed unable to move with string from a lawn trimmer wrapped around his body.  It is amazing that he survived with just wounds from trying in vain to become unwound.  He's a bit like Kenz, nervous of anyone except the family.

Has Cedric been neutered?

He seems to lack the scarred nose and split ears so common in fully credentialed males of this assertive species.

He is a very handsome fellow.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, he has been neutered. His only scats are around his belly where the trimmer cord dug in from three weeks of struggling.
Oh.. that's so sad to hear that we was trapped in a shed for 3 weeks; that must have been awful for him. He looks none the worse for his ordeal, though. My little Sooty was just a one person cat; if anyone came in the house, all they ever saw of him was the tip of his tail going out through the cat flap!
Mary MacADNski: Their three cats are so different; this one certainly the most shy. You can see in this photo that scaredy cat look some cats have (Kenz included).
Great name for a cat. Thank goodness they found him. He's a handsome chap
Mary MacADNski: He is one lucky cat to be found. I'll never forget that call. it was a Christmas miracle.

Nice markings Mary
Mary MacADNski: Those are the true tabby markings. They're beautiful.
I suppose he is not visiting sheds anymore!
Mary MacADNski: I would think not. He was a lucky cat to be found.
Yes, some cats are more suspicious and shyer than others. These I think are more likely to get into trouble because they are more likely to panic.

You have caught that look brilliantly Mary
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, cornishmaid. I never thought of it that way. It makes perfect sense.
He looks as if he is asking what you think you are doing with that camera.
Mary MacADNski: Scared to death that I might steal his image. LOL
Glad you found him early enough..could have been fatal. Nice looking cat Janet.
Mary MacADNski: This is Mary, Ron. It was a Christmas miracle that he was found after a three week search.
