A Change is Gonna Come

When we are enjoying An Island Walk, we watch for special light.

In just a little while those leaves will match the colour of the rock

Mary MacADNski: Yesterday's shot is of this same cliff with matching leaves.

I would love to see a shot with the autum leaves. Wow.

Mary MacADNski: Yes, zed, a break in the clouds. I could hardly get my camera out of the bag fast enough. It was like this for a very short time.

Mary MacADNski: I am quite shocked about this. We have laws preventing clearcutting at such spots but people break the laws.

A magical ray of light Mary...and the soil/rock is very red looking. Nice one.

Mary MacADNski: It was the sun. I got some other shots of that sun and cloud and shadows and light. That's what it's all about, eh?

Mary MacADNski: It was a wonder for just a moment.

Yes, that was the first thing that grabbed my eye, too! It certainly shows up the rock strata.

Mary MacADNski: That's what it's all about - that little bit of light on one cliff.

The red cliffs again. They sort of glow in the sun.

Mary MacADNski: The one in the foreground is for sure.

Sharp eyes, Mary...you certainly got that special light this time.
