photoblog image Bronzed Field

Bronzed Field

I hope I'm not boring you all with endless shots of the countryside with a weekly cat shot thrown in.  I do go to town once in a while (as seldom as possible, truthfully) but don't feel nearly as inspired to take out the camera.

this is one of my favorites from you... the bronze of the field contrasts wonderfully with the trees. Most original!
Mary MacADNski: This shot is just up from this shot:

Give me countryside shots any day rather than urban scenes. I like the contrast between the foreground and the more distant view.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, you supply us with lots of natural scenes too. It's wonderful to be able to be out and about to enjoy them.

So different to my city life Mary, its like a breath of fresh air
Mary MacADNski: I appreciate fresh air too, get lots of it and am happy to share.
With views like this you can't bore us.
Mary MacADNski: Thank you, kind sir. The landscape never bores me but those who take so many urban shots, portraits, architecture and others must think I'm very one dimensional.
Your do get glorious seasons there Mary..with a big difference between them..unlike the UK.There's some wonderful colours in this.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ron. My son and I were talking about that today. He lives in central Canada and seasons are not as lingering as here.
I guess that field will perhaps have been harvested by now Mary. It is a great foil to the trees in the background.
Mary MacADNski: No this is just a few days ago. Soybeans have to be completely dried and it is difficult this year because of large quantities of rain this month
You seem to capture our attention all the same Mary! I like it, is just so differne to here in Cape Town.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, your beautiful city is very different. I'll be seeing you summer shots when I'm hip deep in snow.

I can't get too much of these superb pastoral vistas, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ray. The landscape is my muse.
