Just resting!

Lick of paint and a bit of handywork on the roof, and she'll be good for another generation, easliy!
Mary MacADNski: It has a nice property but I don't think I'll rush to buy it.

This is rather sad Mary
Mary MacADNski: It makes me happy - that I don't have to live there.

House is a bit like me at the moment...bit frayed at the edges
Mary MacADNski: Perhaps you just need a bit of repair and will be as good as new.
What a charming dwelling and I wonder what stories it holds Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It looks like no one has been in resident for a long, long time.
I wonder why it has been abandoned. Perhaps it conflicts with new countryside, conservation and planning laws? If it as "tucked away" and isolated as it appears I'm not sure that I would want to live there. I don't see any power cables, and I like my comforts.
Mary MacADNski: There has been no one here for a long time. Perhaps they never had electricity. The fields in front have been cropped.
Vrey nicely captured Mary. It must have been a nice place to live in!
Mary MacADNski: It's on a nice road where you can see Nova Scotia on the horizon.

I always wonder why some bodies dream home ends up lke this, sad realy
Mary MacADNski: I think usually it is that the person has gone to a nursing home or died.
I hope it gets restored, So pretty.
Mary MacADNski: I very much doubt it will.
Oh dear..More abandoned property..That would do me Mary. Nice one.
Mary MacADNski: It needs a bit of work. LOL

Interesting high roof construction. Old style insulation approach, the way I understand it.
Great picture.
Mary MacADNski: Also snow has to have a way to slide off. It's weight can crush roofs or leak through.
Nice shot!
Mary MacADNski: Thank you. I have many old building shots in the archive.
I presume this is another of the abandoned buildings on your island Mary, what a shame.
Mary MacADNski: It is another. It's a good place for wildlife to live.

What a shame that someone's home is now empty and unloved. Quite sad, really.
Mary MacADNski: I keep hearing that these make people sad but it does not make me feel that way. There are so many derelict buildings in the countryside that I would be sad all the time.
Nice find. I love old stuff. This is like termites holding hands. Cool.
Mary MacADNski: I love old buildings too. My archive contains many.

Looks like the cottage in the woods of many a fairy story, sadly in need of a little TLC.
Ingrid
Mary MacADNski: I think the witch's cat and the sorcerer's rat lives in there.
Just crying out for a loft conversion tongue
Mary MacADNski: You might snag it for a song.

What a pity this has been left, it looks as if it was once a lovely home for somebody.
Mary MacADNski: It would still be a nice property.
