I wonder if fossils are found in these cliffs, Mary?
Mary MacADNski: I'll email you privately about that in a bit. But yes, there are.
From all your pictures it is easy to agree the Prince Edward Island is indeed lovely
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Bill. I am enthralled with landscape everywhere and find this one of the best.

Looks dangerous near the edges Mary
Mary MacADNski: Above is a golf course. When the tide is low you can walk on the beach.

Have you walked from the far distance Mary?
Mary MacADNski: That is across the bay. I walk on clay roads only or through woods or hills and fields. I'm a Capricorn but haven't learned to walk on water yet. Just thinking though. The bay freezes and I've walked on it but not all the way across.
It looks a little unsafe, but the colour is great.
Mary MacADNski: When the tide is low you can walk around the cliff. Above it is a golf course.
This looks like one of those cliffs that possibly suffers from erosion Mary, but the light really brings out its colours.
Mary MacADNski: Lots of erosion on our cliffs, Brian. It does change colours in the light.
I feel like being in Madagascar with the earth hue and the light!
Fine capture Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, Madagascar - another red spot on the earth. Thanks, Richard.
It is nicely lit up Mary...and quite red in colour.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, well lit. I have tons of shots of this exact place but manage to take new ones of it still. Was there twice in the last week so have at least two new ones.

Wow, a weird effect - I battle to grasp the scale/size! Reminds me a bit of South Africa. Cheers, H.
Mary MacADNski: The far sure is only a km. or so across a bay, not far at all.

The sun has really brought out the colour in the cliffs. Is that still part of the island in the distance or is that the mainland?
Mary MacADNski: Yes, that's only a km or so across the bay.
