Very nice, shadows can be fun. These work well with the slight misty effect of the trees.

The trees say winter, but this has the look of a spring day with the bright green grass and soft light.

Lovely shadows, I wonder how long it will be before they are covered in snow.

They are lovely at this time of the year; looking forward to the coming images.
Mary MacADNski: They whole week's images are very different but shadows are the theme.
I agree that this shot is a perfect reference for a painting, Mary. Beautiful compostion and coloring.
Mary MacADNski: It is a good study. We can figure out exactly where the light source is and add anything (buildings, etc) from there.
