Very pretty Mary - but oh so telling!
Mary MacADNski: I don't even know where the ice on the trees came from. I saw it on other trees today. It was a regular first snow but trees held these little jewels.

Ice belongs in a gin&tonic glass, Mary...not hanging off a branch.
Mary MacADNski: Vintage says he agrees with you but that he'd prefer scotch.

You would think it was the letting-go-of-winter time, getting ready for spring, Mary, rather than the other way around!
Mary MacADNski: It does look more spring-like. I don't even know where the ice on the trees came from. I saw it on other trees today. It was a regular first snow but trees held these little jewels.

I spent a Christmas in AU. It was fabulous - rented a beach cottage.
What a lovely composition Mary. The light is superb!

Very pretty. Amazing the way the chunks of ice cling to such a small space.

Good capture I think Ray got a point but scotch
Mary MacADNski: I'll tell him - I'm traveling backward through the co0mments.
It seems we have frosts from this weekend on. This shot is lovely Mary.

Very nicely selected little grouping Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I've been so busy I got that up in time but it certainly could have used a bit of a crop, to tell the truth. As with the next one...
The big middle bit of ice looks a bit like and ice bird with it's beak on the right. A pretty shot Mary.

Need snow shoes for the walk? Now we will start getting good snow pictures.
Mary MacADNski: Goodness, no. This was the first snowfall. You could use your sneakers. We need lots of snow for snowshoes.
This is a little gem Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Bill. I've been so busy I got that up in time but it certainly could have used a bit of a crop.
The ice shines like diamonds. For me the first snow looks precious.
Mary MacADNski: The first snow is always pretty. It's gone now. It rained.
