Crappy homemade Angel unfortunately
Mary MacADNski: You could try to make something better. There's still time.

Not a partridge, nor a pear tree...but, near enough!
Mary MacADNski: There are several in the trees waiting for a handout.
This bird has got a great sense of balance!
This year it is a material white star hand made by my wife!
Mary MacADNski: The crows sit like this all the time waiting for handouts. Your treetop sounds perfect - something lovingly made.
Nice capture Mary!
Nice title too!!
smile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Reflecteur.
Now that's what I call perfect balance, a beautiful shot, Mary
Mary MacADNski: Thank you, soulaflame. I wish I could make my bird ornaments stay as easily.
It really stands out nicely against that lovely blue sky Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I think so too! Thanks.
What a perfect tree-topper, Mary.

Excellent timing for that shot.

I wonder how long he was able to maintain his balance like that.
Mary MacADNski: The blackbirds always top trees like this. Crows, grackles, red-wing black birds and starlings will sit like this. That is here anyway.
smile ,thats what you call balance, if I were to pick a bird it would have to be a Robin!
Mary MacADNski: I was jokingly thinking more of the topper for your Christmas tree. Do you use a star, an angel a bird? I am using a bird this year.
How amazing. It's not the best perching place available. Did someone tell him about stars on top of Christmas trees?
Mary MacADNski: The crows sit like this all the time around here. Grackles do it as well and perhaps even some other black birds. I have a bird this year but usually have an angel.

tonguetongue our top is still on for we had little decorations....but we do have a delightful tree....
Great picture.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Astrid. I have a bird this year on my untraditional tree. I usually have an angel.
Better not!
In Spain there are an old Spanish proverb:
"Cría cuervos, y te sacarán los ojos". "Raise crows and they will peck your eyes out".

Amazing shot Mary!
Mary MacADNski: I feed them sometimes and last year fed them every day. I decided not to this year and they are surrounding the house cawing and begging for food. I think they would peck my eyes out!
The picture is lovely, Mary. The caption is superb! :-D
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Donald. This is a common sight for me.
smileI used a star this year, but it ended up a bit lop sided Lol smile
Mary MacADNski: Next time, try a crow. LOL
This is sweet. Not much needs to be said. Great capture.
Mary MacADNski: I have quite a few shots like this. From this spot the crows can tell when I get up. It tells all the others in the neighbourhood that breakfast is almost ready.
