The 'beast' is absolutely adorable, Mary. Just look at that little face. A lovely shot.
It's lovely to talk to you again Mary, and thank you for your message. May I wish you and yours a wonderful Christmas with much happiness.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Paul. It was really great to find you. The beast is adorable for a minute or two and a destructive monster for the rest of the hour.
Best of the season to you and your wife (and children?) as well and I'll drop by your animus blog.
After seeing your replies, Mary, you have now answered my question about if Baxter is one of the easier parts of Christmas...or not! So, you don't have any say about him when he comes????
Mary MacADNski: Not but I am trying to be tolerant. He can spread destruction as fast as you can imagine. I am adopting a new description, first issued by our Brian Walby, "a bundle of mischief." Fits him perfectly.
He's my daughter's dog so I have to have him if I want her. He's a bit of a handful but cute as you can see.
Baxter is a STAR! I'm not allowed to have a dog (Jude says we have enough on our plate with the 3 cats and the rabbit!) - at the moment! PS. Enjoyed your island walk. The weather here is cold and icy but I suspect its MUCH colder where you are! Mike
Mary MacADNski: It was +3 and raining all day yesterday and +1 today. We have no snow on the ground, a white Christmas.
If I was to have a dog it would be a calm and larger type like a golden retriever or something similar mixed breed. These little energetic bundles who eat everything not put on a 10 foot shelf is not the dog for me.
I thought so. I had one once - a beautiful white one and mad as a hatter. I loved him so much. In my mind they are the best breed of dog ever
Mary MacADNski: My daughter loves him to pieces too. I like dogs who lie at you feet, look up lovingly and this is after he's brought you your slippers, not eaten them. LOL
