looks like he's definitely checking it out! sniffing the air? Nice moment to catch.
Mary MacADNski: That's why I posted even with the blur. He had been running so happily up the beach and stopped suddenly to sniff the air with his face to the howling wind. It was a very nice moment to catch.
Mary MacADNski: He was fantastic. A couple of years ago I was visiting my friend at Christmas. We went down for a walk on the beach and this dog ran into the water which that year was filled with ice pads. He loved it.
I think he is hearing a few snippets of the call of the wild, Mary.

Mary MacADNski: Kenz likes being out in winter but Bella does not. She's a fair weather cat. You probably misses them today but I've been so darned busy I have not found time to put photos up. I still don't have one up for tomorrow but needed to answer comments. They were piling up.
Vry nice capture, Mary! I used to have a dog to walk with - it was always an adventure! Now, without the explorer-swimmer-chaser companion, I can pay attention to the scenery, stop for photos, and "stick my own nose in the air" to catch to subtle aromas!
Mary MacADNski: This is my friend's dog and I delighted in this walk with him. He was in his element and so, so happy.
