So furry... it seems inviting...
Mary MacADNski: Ha ha! It is too cold to be inviting, though it did wrap that sunflower like a blanket.

Magic!

Love the big curve that dominates this image, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: You are too kind.
That is a wonderful shot, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Michael. This was a severe early frost but we are having the best winter ever. I worried that it was a sign of a bad winter to come.

Mary MacADNski: First heavy frost is not usually this early. This sunflower was in full bloom.

Well taken Mary: this is a wonderfully focussed shot
Mary MacADNski: Why thank you. I throw a lot of shots away because of poof focus but some turn out. I don't own a tripod but would never use one anyway.

This looks almost animalistic - an unusual viewpoint.

Hoary, hoary frost, Mary. Wow. You'd nevert believe it if you didn't see it!
Mary MacADNski: It was in mid September and quite a surprise. There was a warning the night before so the tomatoes were covered.
Well Sheila, if you will leave your cats out in freezing weather all night what do you expect.

Mary MacADNski: Richard, I'm not Sheila and what are you talking about cats for?

Wonderful, Mary. Those ice crystals really do make this stand out.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Alan. I should show the front of this sunflower sometime.
Gordon Lightfoot is one of my very favourite singers....an I haven't got this song. Which album is it on?
Mary MacADNski: I don't know what album but you can find out at Amazon.com. I use Amazon to figure these things out all the time. This song has been covered many times. I've got a few versions. It's a wonderful song.
This is a GREAT shot!! I like this especially the detail!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Sola. I was wondering when on your blog if you were female. I love your name.
