Yesterday's photo somehow ended up in the unassigned bin, blank except for the photo itself.
One day at the beach last summer I got 30 or so shots of this gull. It was totally relaxed, turning and posing, seemingly not afraid at all. I returned to my blanket to get it a treat. When I turned back toward it, it was gone. I ate the treat.

Mary, this fellow certainly gets around. I took his picture at the lake's edge back in the early summer. As he did for you; he posed, preened and hammed it up while I snapped shot after shot.
Love that Island red rock he's standing on.
Mary MacADNski: A gull is so loved and so hated. This is a young one with dapple on his head and so interesting.
