nice baron landscape as it is Mary
Mary MacADNski: Nothing but snow, ice and sky.
terrific landscape. the sky is quite foreboding!
Mary MacADNski: Some twiddlers could make it much more foreboding. I would like to see that.

Quite good enough for me as it is, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Twiddlers make shots like this so much more dramatic. That's what I was imagining.
You can't enhance something which isn't there in the first place, Mary, and in this shot you've put "it" "there". Nicely done...

What are we looking at Mary, is it land or wanter...its hard to tell. You really must live "out in the wild" so to speak. Great shot!
Mary MacADNski: It is ice. The sea is frozen there. This is at the ferry terminal which is closed in winter. Usually ice covers the entire strait in winter but I was there yesterday again and only the edges are frozen with the whole center open water. We've had a mild winter with only one cold week.

This is a nice job Mary, no twiddling required

This is a fine shot Mary: Bill Phillips & myself would only ruin it
Mary MacADNski: You are too kind. Twiddlers make shots like this so much more dramatic. That's what I was imagining. David from Skye is the kind of twiddler I am thinking of.

No need, Mary.. your straight capture is very good. I like the light on the water. My own image today is along similar lines.

Works well as it is Mary, why would anyone want to even think about changing it.

Its lovely just as it is,I like the sunlight on the water.
Mary MacADNski: I like that bit of sunshine too, Linda. Thanks.
This is really a fine photo, Mary. the shadows are delightful and the entire scene feels quite calm. smile
Mary MacADNski: Reminds me of the saying, "If you don't like the weather here, wait five minutes."

Nice shot as it is.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Santi.
It's strange seeing snow cover the sand. I wonder what it feels like to walk along the water's edge in snow boots.

This particular shot is gorgeous, Mary, no need to alter it in any way.
Mary MacADNski: Your boots are cleaner walking in the snow, Beverly. LOL Thanks for the vote of confidence. I appreciate it.
Excellent as it is Mary...Looks quite dramatic.

It's wonderful enough as it is without all the twiddles, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much. Twiddlers can make shots like this look very dramatic. I think that would be interesting to see.
You're correct, Mary... we "twiddlers" would have lots of fun with this. Let me know if/when you you feel the urge to join us. "-)
Mary MacADNski: No urge whatsoever, Alan. I have a different philosophy.
