Very cheering Mary: with luck we'll have daffodils in bloom here within the next week too
Mary MacADNski: We won't have any till end of April so I will see yours longingly.
Yes daffodils are such joyful blooms Mary and, what is that arch?
Mary MacADNski: A rusty wheel in my garden which has lots of rusty metal things.

You're lucky - I've got plenty that aren't in focus anywhere! Spring is coming, I see - about time too.
Ingrid
Mary MacADNski: You are way ahead of us. We won't see daffs till the end of April.
A joyful picture for me Mary..Wont be long now!
Mary MacADNski: The end of April is when we see our daffodils so it will be a while yet.

Your spring is my autumn.
Big wheel keeps on turning.

Excellent point of view.
Mary MacADNski: It's still winter though we're having springlike rain at the moment. We won't see daffodils in the garden till the end of April.
Great colours Mary, its nearly heresmile
Mary MacADNski: These will bloom here in April but I will get to see yours before then.

What a fabulous POV, Mary. Good for you! It'll be here before you/we know it....
Mary MacADNski: I can wait. I'm a patient person. I was tired of snow shots though.
What a wonderful POV Mary! Well done.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much, Richard.

We'll still waiting for our dafodills, Mary. Spring is around a month late this year.
Mary MacADNski: I understand you've had quite a different winter. As I said we can depend on it coming eventually.
These are the first yellow daffodils in bloom. I have a blue hyacinth, which I photographed and go up soon.
I like how you used the approach. It makes the picture more suggestive, it seems as if lying among the daffodils.
A greeting.
Mary MacADNski: These are from last year. Daffodils (and hyacinths) bloom here in April. I was tired of snow shots.

Estos son del año pasado. Narcisos (y jacintos) florecer en abril. Estaba cansado de los disparos de nieve.
Love how bright the yellow and green show up against that vivid blue sky and really like the angle you shot this from Mary. It almost seems that you were one of them yourself.
Mary MacADNski: Truth be told I was lying down with the cat:

Terrific color, Mary! I really like the perspective here. well done!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Charles. I love that yellow/green of daffodils.
According to our weather forecasters today is the 1st.day of Spring, they make it up as they go along. When we get to see daffs.by the roadside then it is Spring.
Mary MacADNski: The real first day is at equinox at 20 or 21. It still is a bit wintery here then. April feels like spring here.
Spring is coming soon if the daffs are growing wild!
Oh I just read the other comments - no daffs until the end of April. Shame!
Mary MacADNski: I have flowers up all week with an ode to spring. I'm sick of snow shots and need some colour!
Not in my picturesgrin
Mary MacADNski: I think you do OK.
Nice one Mary. Getting down with the daffs
Mary MacADNski: I was down with the cat but since the daffs looked cool....
Gorgeous yellow, Mary - in England, they're just pushing through smile
Mary MacADNski: Your spring is so much earlier than ours.
Very nice composition here!
Mary MacADNski: Thank you so much, Ada.

Clever image, Mary...reminds me of Where's Wally.
Mary MacADNski: In this one, it would be fair to say, Where's Kenz. This was taken at the same time:

Mary MacADNski: Thanks, kim. I found yours. That is about my favorite ever piece of public art that I want to go to Chicago to see it. Come to think of it it would have been great in Boston - Beantown!
