cute little ladybird, funny normally w ewould not tough a bug but these everyone seems to like
Mary MacADNski: When I was a kid, I couldn't wait to find them to hold and let them crawl on your arm.
Looks like spring has arrived on your island and critters are out for a sun-bath!
Mary MacADNski: This was taken mid summer last year. We still have snow on the ground, sadly.

Very good Mary: a ladybird's view of the world
Mary MacADNski: There were so many in the beach grass. Lady bugs love the beach, it seems.

Mary MacADNski: That would do it!
Everyone likes ladybirds but then say they don't like beetles......
Mary MacADNski: Bugs of any kind are no bother to me. Snakes on the other hand...

Mary MacADNski: That beach is 50 km from here so you're safe.

Oddly we seem to have a few ladybirds in our "kitchen" areas (i.e.hot water point, sink and fridge) at the Mad House; not such asn attractive scene as this, though.
Mary MacADNski: They do seem to appear indoors in winter. I just leave them alone.
Must be one of the most popular bugs. Nicely captured Mary
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ma'am. Even kids seem to like ladybugs.
Another ladybird - nice composition, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Tom. Needed that hint of beach in the shot.
beautifully captured, Mary! i love these. would be nice to see it a little more close up, but I like the shot as it is too
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Charles. This week I am showing grasses so needed the wider shot.
Very well taken Mary, you call them bugs, we call them birds, strange.
Mary MacADNski: I believe we may have called them birds when I was a kid but I don't hear that tern here now.
I'm definitely on the straight and narrow at my age Mary..just like this creature climbing the grass. Lovely shot.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ron. I think we all are on that same path, sadly.
beautiful macro and colors !
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much, David.
Really beautiful! I'm happy to be in the field with this ladybug too smile.
Mary MacADNski: The ladybug was a bonus to the wonderful grass.
Well spotted Mary, nice shot.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, cliffordben.
