Love this pic Mary! Though I would have prefer ed the distant tree in the center of the window created by closer tree. Nevertheless, love the composition. great job.

Happy St. Patrick's day to you too..
Mary MacADNski: The small tree is the same one in yesterday's shot though a couple years younger.
That's very sad that this tree has lost its tree house, and it had such a very nice view across the field to those fluffy clouds, its a very nice place to sit and ponder at the end of the day, Happy ST Patricks Day.
Mary MacADNski: The hammocks still hang there in summer. It's a wonderful summer activity.

Superior composition, Mary. I can't find the little green guy, though.
Mary MacADNski: He's a little further up the tree, drinking green beer, thus in true camouflage.

How could I have forgotten! I just looked and my PJs have green in them, so no pinching. smile

That tree is the PERFECT tree for a treehouse. I can see it in my mind's eye.
Mary MacADNski: I had to take it down as it started to rot but the kids sure had a great time in it.
So it is!! Happy St Patrick's Day
Mary MacADNski: Cheers or Slainte!

Happy St. Paddy's day to you. Great shot. Love the color saturation.
Mary MacADNski: That's real and true colour. I don't enhance or saturate. Cheers!

I like the tiny tree on the horizon. Happy St Pat's to you too, though a day late.
Mary MacADNski: It's only the 17th there too unless you've crossed the date line. With ChadAir I suppose you could be on the moon.

I'll go along with that Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Cheers or....Slainte!
I expect many a happy hour was spent in the treehouse. Happy St Patrick's day to you too.
Mary MacADNski: Absolutely! The kids did spend lot of time in the trees and on the hammocks hanging on that side of the yard.
All green ... is Spain do not have this event. I do not know what the tradition. I'll look on Wikipedia.
Mary MacADNski: It's an Irish holiday and a good excuse to drink beer.

Es un día de fiesta irlandesa y una buena excusa para beber cerveza.

I like the way that tiny tree on the horizon is framed by the one in the foreground.
Ingrid
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ingrid. The trees change so much over time.
As I should have asked my wife to prepare today Colcannon, makes terrific although I only tested the she does. He loves to cook recipes from other countries.
Mary MacADNski: I'm not familiar with that food. Is it Irish?

Green all day
Mary MacADNski: Cheers, Vintage!
Great use of the tree as a frame Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It had another big branch facing the viewer that had to be sawed off to let a large machine go past.

I see it every day but from where I sit, a barn is in the frame. The small tree is the same tree as in the shot from yesterday. It is still small but has grown quickly.
Like the composition, Mary - the V really focuses attention.

Yes, Irish food is made with cabbage, onions, bacon and mashed potatoes. Heat is a good meal for a cold day.
Mary MacADNski: No he tenido mucha comida irlandesa. Tener un buen fin de semana.
