This one makes me smile... smile
Mary MacADNski: Anything for a smile, Larry, of a laugh but a smile at least. A smile changes the world.

We always need the wise-cracking comedian in the crowd, Mary.

There certainly is Mary!
Mary MacADNski: LOL. Me and you amongst them.
Great shot. The back marker has just spotted you and is wondering whether its worth doing something about you. smile
Mary MacADNski: Oh, they took off in a second. You called this right.
I can hear them make the noise they do
Mary MacADNski: They certainly do make a distinctive sound.

Wonderful photo good looking birds
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, m8. It was amongst all that fog - a completely clear scene.
The singer one seems bothering the others!
Great capture Mary!
Mary MacADNski: S/he is warning of my arrival. They flew off to the other side of the river.

Hey Mary, I love this shot! Goose karaoke is definitely funny stuff. I enjoyed the red rushes/shrubbery too, really interesting. I'm going to try to follow your lead and add the music/verse dimension to my shots, makes for an immersive experience, thankyou smile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much. The music is most important to me, spark. The good old right click of Firefox is the best. YouTube won't let you do that so you can't as easily visit the other blogs while the song is playing. Good luck!
Good timing, Mary.

Birds can be so comical. It's so much fun watching their antics.
Mary MacADNski: This was a warning honk telling the others that an intruder was stopping at the road. They got the message and flew to the other side of the river to a grain field where there were hundreds of others.
When the rest look up he will say "made you look"
Mary MacADNski: That would be you huh?
If this had been my class at school many years ago this would have been me, always the one messing about!
Mary MacADNski: Me too.
They must be glad the Winter's over - nicely caught, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Geese have been returning over the last month. On Saturday I saw the largest flock I have ever seen in my life.

Like a wolf howling at the moon! I love it, Mary. smile
Mary MacADNski: He was telling them I was an intruder. They flew to the other side of the water into a field after this hoot.
I love Ginnie's comment! "The Goose and the Wolf in Concert" would be a very interesting (though bloody) event.
Mary MacADNski: Ouch! There flew off with just me stopping at the road. A wolf wouldn't have a chance.
You've got a great blog, and you are very talented. I've added you to my blog list to visit frequentlu.

Hhhaha... yes, well seen. No doubt it was enjoying a good gobble!
Mary MacADNski: As told in the other comments, across the river was the 'good gobble'. They were drinking and preening in the river, feeding in the field.
These too can be noisy Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Goodness, can they ever. I saw the largest flock I ever saw in my life and it was their noise that gave them away.
nicely captured.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Rob.
