Love those big, irregular, chunks of polystyrene strewn about...
Mary MacADNski: Thank you, Ray. I processed this and am not sure if I like it. I pressed one button - auto contrast- on Picasa and the fog disappeared. It is not at all what I looked at that day.
Strange effect with the foreground so sharp and vibrant and everything else so muted, as though there is a hazy veil over it.

Mary MacADNski: Glad you mentioned it. This is a shot from a foggy day a couple of weeks ago. I pressed one button on Picasa called auto contrast. The fog about disappeared and left this. I feel like this is a false image in the sense that it is not at all what I saw that day. However, it is clearer and the birds are more visible. I don't know if I like it or not.
You described this yourself, Mary, Wild and powerful. It is funny how you can visit the same spot and find new and different inspiration with each return there.
Mary MacADNski: I was here three times yesterday believe it or not.
Very beautiful! I like the Point of View a lot, usually the poles and birds would be more in the foreground, but this way it makes the shot even more appealing!
Mary MacADNski: I walked right up to the old pylons yesterday but of course the birds fly off right away.
I have to laught at this. All those poles, like people jostling patiently in a ragged queue. I was so taken with them that I didn't even notice the birds until I read some of the comments.
